Noone ever delivers the “Whole Truth” when it comes to fitness. And the lack of information could be because of various reasons. I personally believe it is because of the lack of knowledge. Based on scripture, this is how we parish. How can anyone give you that which he or she does not possess? Because “Fitness” is a compilation of things. When thinking of fitness, one usually thinks of exercise. Exercise is only a quarter of fitness, the first truth of “Whole truth Fitness” is to stay “Hydrated.”
Hydration is the body's ability to absorb water, the vital liquid it needs, and is based on how much water is available to it. It delivers oxygen to your entire body, every cell, tissue, and organ requires water, the primary fluid it needs to perform functions such as maintaining eye moisture, regulates body temperature, disposing of body waste and the lubrication of your joints. Joint lubrication decreases the friction between cartilage and allows for natural and pain free joint movement.
Au contraire being “Dehydrated” causes muscle cramps, abdominal pain, hard stools, constipation, headache, delirium, confusion, tiredness/ fatigue, dizziness, weakness and swollen feet could be common side effects, not to mention dry mouth, and thirstiness. Point to remember, if you are thirsty, then you are already mildly dehydrated. Emotional side effects could be crankiness and anxiousness. Other side effects can be more severe as seizures, altered mental state, slurred speech, memory loss, and lack of coordination, fainting, loss of consciousness or even hallucinations. Severe dehydration is a potentially life-threatening medical emergency. It can cause serious damage to your kidneys, heart, and brain.
As you lose fluid, your blood becomes more concentrated, making your cardiovascular system work harder to efficiently pump blood. A high blood concentration also makes your kidneys retain more water, which is why you urinate less. As dehydration progresses, you eventually lose fluid around the brain tissue which will affect your overall cell function. Many of the body challenges are directly caused by dehydration.
